| How to get a little extra out of combo lists Posted: 31 Oct 2014 05:50 AM PDT Hello guys, I have never written a tutorial, but this one is basic, and probably a bit known as well as a bit of common sense. I don't know if many people do actually know this but it could help. First of all this tutorial is aimed at combo lists. For example, a file with email@email.com:password13 now when I hack databases, I usually manually check for certain accounts like their email/moneys and when I go through the list, I am only half way done. The second repetition I do, I go through and change the first letter to a capital. For example: password13 <-- originally Password13 <-- capitalized You will see a huge increase of this working for peoples accounts. If they sign up for a site, they are most likely going to use a similar password, if not the same, to their emails or paypals etc. You can also do the same with decapitalization: Password13 <--originally password13 <--decapitalized Now sometimes when I am looking for certain accounts, I have a way of weeding out the accounts that I imagine will not work. This is usually where intuition comes into place. For example, this is a paste off of my list: ***@hotmail.com:tyrell07 --This one looks like a normal, average persons password. You can capitalize it, or more often than not in a private/fresh list it will work for either for their email or money. Passwords like this make me think of mature people. Mature people are mostly adults. Adults are sometimes wealthy. These are my main targets for monetization value. ***@gmail.com:superted182 --Same sort of thing as above, any passwords that seem to be nicknames or something with a possible birthdate is always a good chance of being their password ***@gmail.com:smoove --No capitals, no numbers, no security, if it is MD5'd it can be cracked in mere minutes. Alot of the time, for me anyway, this sort of password doesnt work (though there are exceptions obviously) This password makes me think of 13 year old girl that has just got a new Samsung Galaxy mini for her birthday and just created a gmail account because she had to, and thought she would put a nice basic password so she will never forget it. kr***er96@hotmail.com:Fuckthis1 --Any passwords with swearing, or things like "BONGHIT69" I assume they wont work, and maybe do them last as like a last resort. First of all, it will probably be a 13 year old girl, that has no money, or nothing that I will probably need (if the password actually works) Lol, now that I sort of look at what I have wrote, it seems pointless. Maybe there is a couple of tips people could pick up on. If you are checking peoples emails or something, use python to capitalize and decapitalize after trying the initial password you have gotten from the database or whatever. |
